Priory of the Canons of the Holy Sepulchre and part of Saxon town, Thetford - Breckland

The remains of the Priory of the Canons of the Holy Sepulchre comprise the standing remains of the medieval priory church and an adjoining area of open ground known as School Plain which includes buried archaeological deposits of late Saxon date. A collapsed section of the surviving priory precinct boundary wall on the northern side of School Plain has been repaired and consolidated. Other sections of the precinct wall and priory ruins are in a poor condition and there is risk of further loss.
