Withcote Hall, Oakham Road, Withcote - Harborough

Country house, early C18, incorporating earlier Tudor building, outbuildings and walled garden. Detailed condition survey carried out in early 2002 part-funded by Historic England. By 2018 the house was in a very bad condition; the roof required repair and recovering; there was extensive rot, structural movement and defective plasterwork, all resulting from neglect and water ingress. The first phase of a major programme of urgent repairs commenced in 2019. Historic England is researching the building and continues to provide advice to the owner's agent and Harborough District Council.
