Haigh Hall Park Gateway and Lodges, Wigan Lane, Wigan - Wigan

Neo-classical gateway with attached lodges of 1840 forming the approach to Haigh Hall from the south west, known as Plantation Gates. Slates and flashings are missing, temporary roof covering provided. Lack of permanent repair and vacancy continues to threaten the buildings. A condition survey was carried out in 2016, supported by Wigan Council and Wigan Building Preservation Trust. It is hoped that grant funding could be found to enable repair and a new use.
