Brompton Lines (Fort Amherst) - Medway (UA)

Part of the major C18 landward defence to the dockyard at Chatham. Open to the public as part of the Great Lines Heritage Park. Past grants from Historic England and others have conserved much of the fort but significant areas remain derelict. Works to conserve most of the unrepaired areas have now started using Heritage Lottery Fund grant.
