Poltimore House, Poltimore - East Devon

C16 country house with later additions. Acquired by a trust with funding from Historic England and the Local Planning Authority in 1997. Urgent works carried out in 1998 to make the building wind/weathertight. Emergency roof cover erected 2006. A feasibility study was undertaken in 2007 with grant-aid from the Architectural Heritage Fund and Historic England. Historic England is offering grant aid and further technical advice to the trust to undertake incremental repairs and project development for the house.
