Snodhill Castle, Snodhill, Peterchurch - Herefordshire, County of (UA)

Snodhill Castle was a key element in the Norman line of defence through the English and Welsh Marches. The castle is owned by the Snodhill Castle Preservation Trust (SCPT) and is open to the public following the completion of repair to much of the standing fabric funded by Historic England. An Historic England Management Agreement has enabled fencing and sheep grazing. Further investigative works and repairs are underway to undermined sections of the bailey walls on the south side currently propped with timber. The SCPT has a growing Friends group and active volunteers who manage vegetation.
