Park House, Park Road, Wem Urban - Shropshire (UA)

Sub-divided into six flats, C18 Park House is three storeys high and constructed in red brick with stone dressings. It has a five bay west elevation with a three bay pediment and an Ionic porch: the east elevation has the three centre bays projected forward in a full height bow. A large section of brickwork on the projecting bow between the first and second floors has fallen out, leaving the inner construction exposed to the weather. The defective area has been shored up to prevent further collapse. Discussions between the Local Authority and leaseholders are on-going to bring about repairs.
