Ditherington Flax Mill: Spinning Mill, Shrewsbury - Shropshire (UA)

Former flax mill with five storeys, built in 1797 as the first iron framed building in the world. Converted to maltings in 1897. Outline planning approval was secured for the whole site in 2010. Funding has been secured for the first phase of works and this building as well as the adjoining kiln are now being repaired. The scaffolding has been removed and the fitting out will begin soon.
