Remains of Old Castle Bridge, Mill Street, Warwick - Warwick
Remains of a late medieval bridge. Ownership is split three ways. Earlier proposals for stabilisation were very costly and beyond available resources. It has been proposed that ownership should be transferred to a trust who would co-ordinate restoration and funding but this has not progressed. Historic England has advised the owner of the southernmost section regarding eradication of Japanese Knotweed in order to facilitate inspection and repair of the structure. Addressing the Knotweed will take several years.
