East Lodge to Nunhead Cemetery, Linden Grove SE15 - Southwark
One of a pair of gate lodges dating from 1840, by James Bunstone Bunning, adjacent to the main entrance gates. The lodge is in a ruinous condition. Condition and structural surveys have been undertaken, along with a feasibility study, both jointly funded by Historic England and the Local Authority to inform options for the building's future. Enabling works have been carried out to stabilise the structure. The Local Authority has identified funding to repair the building for re-use and, following stakeholder consultation, is engaged in pre-application discussions on proposals.
