East Lodge to Nunhead Cemetery, Linden Grove SE15 - Southwark

One of a pair of gate lodges dating from 1840, by James Bunstone Bunning, adjacent to the main entrance gates. The lodge is in a ruinous condition. Vegetation has been cleared and the scaffold renewed by the Local Authority. Condition and structural surveys have been undertaken, along with a feasibility study, both jointly funded by Historic England and the Local Authority to inform options for the building's future. The Local Authority has identified funding to fully repair and conserve the building and discussions have begun to identify the optimum approach and end user.
