Entrance gates to Hartford Hall, Hartford Bridge, West Bedlington - Northumberland (UA)

Gates made by the Coalbrookdale Company and exhibited at the Vienna Exhibition of 1873. Historic England offered grant-aid towards the repair of the gates, but that project later stalled when the then owners of the estate went into administration. The gates are now in safe temporary storage. An updated condition assessment was completed with Historic England funding in 2014 and options to try and secure a sustainable long-term solution are being explored. A Historic England funded project in 2017 has catalogued and placed in storage all smaller elements for future conservation works.
