Temple of Victory with railed enclosure, Allerton Park, Flaxby - Harrogate
Summerhouse or view point, 1790, situated on a knoll in the park, to north west of the house, with extensive views over the park and surrounding landscape. Re-roofed, cornice repaired and building made secure some years ago with grant aid from Historic England and Harrogate Borough Council. Further repairs, including the renewal of the external joinery and the internal floor, have been carried out with the support of a grant from Allerton Park Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund.
