Temple of Victory with railed enclosure, Allerton Park, Flaxby - Harrogate

Summerhouse or view point, 1790, situated on a knoll in the park, to north west of the house, with extensive views from the Temple over the park and surrounding landscape. Re-roofed, cornice repaired and building made secure some years ago with grant aid from Historic England and Harrogate Borough Council. Further repairs are underway with the support of a grant from Allerton Park Landscape and Cultural Heritage Fund.
