Charlestown Methodist Church, Charlestown Road, St. Austell Bay - Cornwall (UA)

Former Wesleyan chapel (1827) and attached schoolroom (mid C19), now closed for worship. Listed Building Consent was granted for conversion of the building including two new units in 2013. New units were built but work to chapel and school rooms did not commence. The school room has continued to deterioration. A revised scheme to address the condition of the building was submitted in 2017 and approved in May 2018. Work began to the main body of the chapel in June 2018 with works to the school room expected to commence soon afterwards.
