Drinking fountain set in wall of former St Mary's Churchyard, Whitechapel Road E1 - Tower Hamlets

Drinking fountain with pink marble basin and plaque set in a Norman style arch. Erected in 1860 but moved to its present position in 1879. The Local Authority is working towards repairs of the fountain and reinstatement of the water supply with the help of external funding.
