Tonedale Mills (west complex), Wellington - Taunton Deane

Western complex of an integrated multi-component wool textile factory, now largely disused. Consent was granted for mixed use redevelopment of the complex. Works halted on site in 2008 and pre owners went into receivership leaving some buildings in a very vulnerable condition. The site had some scaffolding and work carried out in 2017 but following concerns raised by the Local Authority this ceased. Enforcment Action has been undertaken to secure Tonedale House following unauthorised works with further ongoing discussions concerning the future of the site and its conservation.
