Northern General Service Hangar, South Road, Hooton, Ellesmere Port - Cheshire West and Chester (UA)

One of a group of three former World War I aircraft hangars. Owned by a trust dedicated to securing its future. The hangar has been re-roofed and is in use for storage. Repairs to high level windows on the south bay have completed; work to the north bay windows and floor to follow. Gutters will be replaced on both bays. The annexe has been re-roofed and rendered, and work to the collapsed floor is in progress. The trust has been proactive and successful in raising money for repairs through storage, but more funding is needed for the ongoing repair of the north bay.
