Northern General Service Hangar, South Road, Hooton, Ellesmere Port - Cheshire West and Chester (UA)

One of a group of three former World War I aircraft hangars. Owned by a trust dedicated to securing its future. The hangar has been re-roofed and is now in use for storage. Belfast trusses have been repaired or renewed with help from a direct government grant. Repairs to high level windows are in progress, and repair of gutters and downpipes is planned, with finance in place. Rendering and repairs to the floor will be considered once fundraising allows.
