Former St Mark's Infant School, Battersea Rise SW11 - Wandsworth
Church school of 1866-67 designed by Benjamin Ferrey. The building is currently vacant but is wind and weathertight. The owners carried out maintenance and repairs to the roof and rainwater goods and implemented structural support to the north wall early in 2018. Discussions are ongoing between the Local Authority, Historic England and the owners regarding the re-use, extension, and alteration of the building. An outline programme of action is under discussion following further investigative work carried out in 2021. The Local Authority is anticipating application proposals.
