Public Baths, Moseley - Birmingham

Municipal baths with lavish terracotta decoration and complete interiors opened in 1907 as an addition to the Free Library (1895). Following repair of the Gala Pool roof, Historic England gave a substantial grant for repair of the Boardroom roof & front facade in conjunction with Birmingham City Council and the World Monuments Fund which was completed in 2022. Some areas, such as the slipper baths are still in a poor condition. Plans for reconfiguration, with more swimming and incorporation of the library into the scheme are underway, supported by the Levelling Up Fund.
