Outline planning approval was secured for the whole site in 2010, renewed in 2020, Funding has been secured and the repair of the main spinning mill is underway. This building has been repaired to allow for a small Historic England office. The main space has been cleared of later interventions to allow it be used for events, but the roof is still in need of major repair.
