Stables west of Over Hall, Ireby, Lancaster - Yorkshire Dales (NP)

Stables built in 1690, belonging to Over Hall. Large two storey stone block with stone slate roof. Structural roof members and stone slate coverings were deteriorating, permitting water ingress.The owners discussed conversion to holiday lets with the Local Authority and Historic England in spring 2016. Listed Building Consent was granted in September 2016 for repairs to the roof, rainwater goods, doors and windows, as well as repointing of stonework and internal repairs. Repairs to the external fabric of the building are underway with completion due in August 2019.
