Temple in the grounds of Mount Clare, Minstead Gardens SW15 - Wandsworth

The 'temple' dates from between 1762 and 1769. Some damage was caused as a result of heritage crime in 2017. The site has been re-secured and temporary Planning Permission for perimeter fencing is subject to a renewal application in 2021. The fence around the building has achieved protection of the building pending repair works, and the site is regularly monitored by Roehampton University. Discussions between the Local Authority and the university are still ongoing concerning the future of this building in the wider context of the Mount Clare site.
