Battersea Power Station, Cringle Street SW8 - Wandsworth

Power station built from 1932 onwards, closed and vacated in 1983. Planning and Listed Building Consent applications were approved in 2011, subject to a legal agreement, for restoration, extension and conversion to provide mixed use facilities. Rebuilding of the chimneys was completed in 2017 and repairs to the fabric are underway as part of the re-purposing of the building for a mix of uses with expected completion in 2021. Ongoing discussions about repairs are being dealt with through a Conservation Steering Group with representation from Historic England and Wandsworth Council.
