Terminal (trans-shipment) Warehouse, Peak Forest Canal, Whaley Bridge - High Peak

Stone built warehouse of three bays dated 1832. Central bay straddles canal, outer bays formerly housed northern terminus sidings of the Cromford & High Peak Railway. The building is currently vacant, however, the Canal and River Trust (CRT) in conjunction with the Whaley Bridge Canal Group (WBCG) are exploring options for re-use. The WBCG are an active volunteer group who have carried out maintenace on the building over the last seven years. Repairs to the roof are planned to be undertaken in 2019 and the building is currently being opened for public events.
