Knebworth House, Knebworth - North Hertfordshire

Knebworth House comprises the remains of a C16 courtyard house with a C19 Gothic style remodelling in cement render, now extensively deteriorated. Despite a continuing campaign of repairs with grants from Historic England, much work remains to be done. The most recent project was the 'Watchman's Tower' range, completed in 2019. Since then, serious structural failure has developed in one of the turrets of the main house, which will be the subject of a further grant application for project development.
