Large country house with various elements dating from C15, C17, C18 and C19. House partly used but large part remains derelict and subject to slow but ongoing decay. The house has been the subject of negotiations between owners, Local Planning Authority, Historic England and other interested parties for many years. Historic England grant offered 2011 for project development works including Conservation Management Plan, condition survey and business plan. Majority of work completed by 2013. Historic England in discussions with Bristol City Council.
