Limehouse District Library, Commercial Road, Limehouse E14 - Tower Hamlets

Former Passmore Edwards Library. Built in 1900 by Messrs Clarkson Architects. The library is closed and the building vacant and boarded up. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent have been granted to convert the building to student accommodation with associated educational and ancillary facilities. Works were subject to delay, but have recently resumed and are due for completion by the end of 2019.
