Tomb of Samuel Griffith, Harrow Road, Kensal Green Cemetery W10 - Kensington and Chelsea
Portland stone altar tomb on a stepped granite base, from circa 1830. The tomb is in poor condition due to erosion and loss of detailing, corrosion of ironwork and heavy overgrowth which has exacerbated the disruption of stone. Railings are missing and bollards have fallen. A comprehensive condition survey was produced in 2013, funded by Historic England. Works have been prioritised accordingly, but no funding sources have yet been identified.
