Guildhall and police station, Abbey Place, Guildhall Square, Tavistock - West Devon

Completed 1848, incorporating medieval fabric in part. Use as court ended 1997 and police station has relocated. The first known example of a combined police station and magistrates' court. Roof is in very poor condition and fabric in general urgently needs attention. Devon Historic Buildings Trust sold the building to the Town Council, who made a successful National Lottery Heritage Fund bid in 2015 and are working on their second.
