The English Heritage Trust

The English Heritage Trust is a registered charity and came into being on 1 April 2015. It took over the 'brand' name of 'English Heritage' and manages over 400 properties that make up the 'The National Heritage Collection' under licence from the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission for England (known informally as 'Historic England')

Its charitable objectives focus on the conservation of the historic properties and promoting public access, understanding and enjoyment of them.
