Barnet Museum

On London History Day, Barnet Museum explore the 1471 Battle of Barnet with a variety of activities, including a children’s craft session, medieval re-enactor and handling objects, during extended opening hours.

Visitors will also be able see our Battle of Barnet display and find out more about the range of activities that make up the Battle of Barnet Project, as well as looking round the whole Museum.

The collection covers many aspects of life in Barnet, from ancient times to the present day; displays include both World Wars, domestic life, shops, pubs, sport, leisure, costume, childhood, religion and health.

This event is leading up to our 2018 Barnet Medieval Festival on 9 and 10 June, and is part of the Battle of Barnet Project (supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund).
