Benjamin Franklin House

To celebrate the 2018 London History Day theme of ‘courage’, the Benjamin Franklin House will be hosting a series of walking tours to explore the London life of American hero Benjamin Franklin: Founding Father, philosopher, scientist and revolutionary leader.

The London Life of a Founding Father

Historical Experience: 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm, 3:15pm, 4:15pm (approximately 45 minutes running time).
Walking tours at 10:30am and 1:30pm (approximately 1 hour running time).

HALF PRICE:
House entry and Historical Experience, 50% off usual adult price (£4.00). Other concessionary rates are listed on the Houses's website.

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to view the only remaining home of this courageous icon via costumed theatrical tours, with 50% off the usual adult price.

House staff will also be leading walking tours of the surrounding streets, taking visitors on an exploration of Georgian Westminster and regaling them with tales of Franklin’s London life in the years leading up to his abrupt departure for the American War of Independence.
