Clapham Society

A walk along the south side of Clapham Common seeing how the war came to Clapham and the lasting effect it had on our streets and the development of South London.

Led by local historian, Derrick Johnson, he will examine the sites where bombs fell and what has happened to them since, the precautions which were taken and our attempts to fight back, "Digging for Victory" and what happened when it was all over.
