As part of our regular admission fee, we'll be offering two special talks to celebrate London History Day. First on Turner and the Napoleonic Wars, using our beautiful ship models as a starting point. Secondly, a talk on Sandycombe Lodge in WWII when it was used as a shadow factory for making airmen's goggles.
To accompany these talks, there will be family craft activities in the basement kitchen offering the chance to make your own model ship, and goggles!
As Turner's House has limited space and delicate interiors, these events will be ticketed and tickets available via our website.
This is a ticketed event, those without a ticket will not be able to enter, as we have a strict capacity. If attending the talks, please arrive no later than 5 minutes before. Please call 020 8892 5485 with any questions.
