A detail of the rusticated brick pilasters that once featured on the north facade of Blackfriars Rail Station, prior to its refurbishment. The bricks are adorned with the names of destinations once served from the station.

Description

May be the image used in 'London's Historic Railway Stations', on p.68. The bricks were salvaged after the station refurbishment in the early 1970s, and are now installed at the end of the present station's platforms.
