Description

The main body of th cathedral was built between 1093 and 1130, with alterations and additions made in the 13th and 15th centuries.

Bishop Lightfoot died in 1889 and has an alabaster effigy lying on a chest tomb with pierced quatrefoils and three coats of arms.
