The Guildhall is 17th century with 18th century alterations. The front of the town hall was built in 1851 by P.C. Hardwick. The Guildhall has two storeys and three bays, with three entrances on the ground floor and a large central three light window above. The window is flanked on either side with two light windows with tracery, and above is a central gable and embattled parapet.
