The church has a Norman west tower, an aisled nave with 13th century aisles and chancel, a south porch and 14th century north chapel. The tower has three short stages with a clock face on the south side and embattled parapets with corner pinnacles. The south nave aisle has four bays with the porch in the second bay. The porch has a pointed arch with dripmould above and large corner pinnacles at the base of the gable. The gable has a round-headed niche and cross finial. The chancel is smaller than the nave and has two bays divided by a stepped buttress. To the left of the buttress is a small priests' door.
