Description

The Vernon Chapel in St Mary the Virgin's Church is the location of numerous memorials and monuments to members of the Vernon family, who lived in Hanbury Hall. The monument to Thomas Tayler Vernon, who died in 1835, is by Chantrey. The figures are his wife, Jessie Anna Letitia Foley, and two sons, Thomas Bowater Vernon and Harry Foley Vernon.
