Description

The capital is on the first pillar from the east in the north arcade, which has been dated to the late 12th century. On the aisle side the capital is scalloped, whilst on the nave side it has a carving of the legend of St Margaret. The sculpture shows St Margaret's head emerging from the belly of the dragon.
