The 11th century tympanum and arch beneath a gable above a blocked-in doorway on the south wall of St Margaret's Church

The blocked doorway is set in a projecting gable block, with a single order arch of roll-moulding. The tympanum within is decorated with a shallow relief carving of two creatures within curling tendrils.
