Description

The benches were decoratively carved in the mid-19th century following original patterns and incorporating portions of the original 15th century benches, none of which now exist in a complete state. The benches have poppy head finials, and the arm rest finials are carved in the shape of human figures and animals including eagles, dogs, and a Pelican in her Piety.
