Exterior view of the south side of the church, probably seen from the east, with a section of the churchyard in the foreground. On the far right side of the image is the 14th century chancel with its low roof, and separated from the nave by the tower. To the left is the south porticus and tower, which has a tile pyramid roof. On the far left side of the image is the south porch, which has a round door and a light wooden panelling above it. The church is a 10th century Saxon building, with minor alterations made during the medieval period.
