The mill stood at Holbans Farm close to the boudary of Heathfield and Burwash parishes. By the mid 1930s it had been abandoned and was little more than a shell. By the autumn of 1940 it had collapsed. This negative was copied by H E S Simmons on 7th November 1934 from an original image taken by the civil engineer Edward Lancaster Burne (1869-1946).
