Sometimes referred to as Black Horse Mill. Milling ceased in circa 1914-1915. At one stage the building was used as a tea-room but by the 1950s had fallen into disrepair. It was demolished in 1961. This negative was copied by H E S Simmons on 7th November 1934 from an original image taken by the civil engineer Edward Lancaster Burne (1869-1946).
