Description

In 1910 the cap and sails were dislodged by a gust of wind. Despite the efforts of Mr Champion, the then owner of the mill, it proved impossible to right the damage. Shortly afterwards the cap and sails were removed and in 1915 the windmill was reduced in height. It was converted into a house in 1961.
