The photographer’s notes state: ‘Prince Street, west side from N.E. House on extreme left No. 28, then Assembly Room Lane, then the remains of the former Assembly ROom, the high north wall of which shows up wel. No. 18, in course of demolition, on extreme right.'
Noted in red: ‘The upper part of the former Assembly Room's north wall was demolished probably in 1932.'
