The photographer’s notes state: ‘Queen Square, south side. Nos. 38 (nearest), 37 & 36. The Grove Avenue. Then No. 35. Further on is No. 32 (pedimented building) and No. 31 to its left. No 37 called Cattybrook House.
Noted in red: ‘no 35 was demolished about March 1935. nos 32 and 31 were burnt out in an air raid before June 1941, and were finally demolished between Sept. 1942 and Oct. 1944.'
