Description

The photographer’s notes state: ‘Burton's Almshouses, Long Row (south side) between St. Thomas Street in west and Victoria Street on east.'

Noted in red: ‘Damaged in the air raid of Nov. 24. 1940. Damged more before June 1941 and mad euninhabitable. FInally demolished probably in the autumn of 1943 or the spring of 1944.'
