Description

Golden Key House at 9 High Street dates from the 16th century and was remodelled in 1610. The house is considered to be one of the finest town houses of the period in the country. An annotation on the reverse of this print describes it as the Old Coach Office; it may have once served as coach office to the neighbouring Swan Hotel, one of the major coaching inns in Tewkesbury.
