When photographed in 1940 this mill had only recently ceased working. The sign on the side of the building shows that it belonged to A W Tomlinson, Miller and Corn Merchant. Originally dating from 1723, the mill stood at a different site in Sidley until 1928 when it was moved to Stocks Green.
